The Maah Haah Hey Trail runs from a Sully State Park ( south of T.R. National Park ), through the south unit of TR and on up through the Little Missouri Grasslands and TR Wilderness , finishing in the North Unit of the Park . A total of 96 miles . Before it enters TR , a bike path shoots off to the north ( bikes are not allowed on the N.P. trails ) , rejoining the Maah Daah Hey ( ! ) at the north end of the park . This is where the gate is ( the lower left corner of the map )

Looks like the gate gets tilted to the right, top being pulled down pivoting on the bottom right corner, Maybe spring loaded so you just lift it?
