Buffalo Gap National Grassland kinda gets missed because it surrounds the Badlands NP . Its an amazing place …. if you take the time to open the gates and visit ! Its about a 45 minutes of driving on gravel roads with beautiful ranch and farmland ( sunflowers and corn ) … then figure out how to pop the barb wire off without ripping your hands ( each rancher has his own style ! ) and follow your official USFS Wall SD Ranger District Map ! Its a beautiful thing . Free Camping
